Last night they ate great Italian food... I know right.. they are in Spain!.. but they enjoyed it. This morning I received a call at 4:38am which is 1:38pm there. They are headed out to El Prado Museum to be closer to the location of the opening Mass. Lots of pilgrims and lots of flags from all over the world. They will be wearing their FLORESCENT GREEN shirts today. You definitely can’t miss them! The opening mass is at 11:00 am our time on EWTN.
COOL! COOL! COOL!
ReplyDeleteWell, I watched EWTN and all the volunteers wore FLORESCENT GREEN vests/shirts. Spoke to Sadye (Julia was not back yet) and they were pretty far away but had a shady spot. It was great watching the same mass they were watching at the same time.
ReplyDeleteOh, that was me, Mary Anne who posted the last comment about the mass.
ReplyDeleteI am watching the "re-run" tonight on EWTN. It feels great to see what they have already experienced. Italian food makes sense to me--our Pope will be there soon and it was probably better than schnizel. Tom T.
ReplyDeleteI just got to watch what Mary Anne recorded on the DVR. I felt myself getting emotional just listening to the Cardinal. I can only imagine powerful it is being there in person.
